If your ball is still in play and you are laying two over par, pick up to maintain pace of play.
Stay within a half hole of the group in front. Groups should push each other.
For desert areas, houses, roads, or any area that is not turf, the player may take one penalty stroke and drop within two club lengths of where the ball last crossed the turf line. You may still play it from the desert/non-turf with no penalty. If it never crossed the turf line, re-tee a provisional; you are hitting 3. If the original is found playable, it may be played with no penalty.
No out of bounds this year. Use the desert / non-turf rule above.
Play water according to USGA rules. Drop at point of entry, no closer to the hole. Lost ball in water is a one-stroke penalty.
Play all shots as they lie: no rolling, moving, or improving your lie. Loose impediments may be removed as long as the ball does not move. Cart path, sprinkler head, drain, or permanent fixture relief may be taken within one club length of nearest point of relief after agreeing with opponents.
Rules remain the rules, but any relief, drop, or unclear situation should be agreed by the players in the match before play continues. If the group reaches consensus on the ruling, that ruling stands for the hole.
Finish each hole with the same ball played from the tee except under the desert rule. Announce any lost-ball replacement during a hole and any ball replacement on the next tee.
The 14 club rule is in effect.
The 3 team competition rounds and singles are match play only. Holes may be conceded, but because of skin pots all birdies and pars must be holed out. General rule: putt it out if you have a shot at a skin.
Honors golf is allowed if pace is maintained. If not, ready golf cannot be penalized. In best ball or singles, teammates may assist with club selection, yardage, putt reading, and whatever else keeps the team moving.
Each cart/team should keep a scorecard and periodically verify the match score with opponents. At round end, verify between cards. Both teams/individuals sign one card and turn it in to the scoring official/captains. Once turned in, the match/score is official.
1st tie break: team with the most points in singles/individual matches. 2nd tie break: team with the most points in Day 1 Best Ball matches. 3rd tie break: team with the most points in Day 2 Best Ball matches.
